Missing Moods Pastry Shop
I have stop eating pastries due to continuous falling of general bakeries pastry’s taste. One day I went to Moods pastry shop and surprise to see their not-so-high price which was Rs. 40 for every pastry. It was very reasonable as compared to their quality. They have branches at some main spots like Gulberg main market, Model Town link road and some other hot places.
Few days ago I was in Gulberg main market and thought to have a Moods pastry but sad to see that they have swiped out. I thought they have shifted somewhere else so went to next branch I know i.e. Model Town link road. Sad to see the same situation there which led me to think that they have cleaned up their setup.
I wasn’t a regular customer of Moods pastry shop but a potential one because I like their pastries very much and I suggest their shop to people I know.
We don’t have a common trend of such pastry and coffee shop however we see many cafes nowadays but they target certain group of people. Moods Pastry Shop had targeted the mass market and withdraw very early. They were the one to change people’s culture out there and such shops need to stay in market for while to bring a change. Such concepts should have long term planning in mind to remain in market for some time to let people know them. I’ll miss them and I don’t know how many out there have disappointed to see Moods shutter down.
Their two closed branches with all their furniture gone has given me impact of their clean sweep from market but I don’t know the real story behind it. Let me know if they are still active at other branches or planning something else. Tell me if anyone know about it because I’m missing their chocolate pastry very much.

you are right moods had a very good taste.saod to listen that theyhave closed branch of model town link road lahore( that was nearest to my place).but one good news is that they are open at Allama iqbal town main boulvard.next to Mcdonald’s.i got there yesterday
It is good to know that they didn’t swipe out of industry but changed their strategy. I can have my chocolate pastry now…
