K.F.C. Zingers

Fish Zinger, K.F.C. Brownie, K.F.C. Price list, MIGHTY Zinger, Zinger, Zinger Xtreme

Day before yesterday at my visit to K.F.C. I was thinking what to choose from many of their options. I summarize their options as below:

1. Four type of Zinger burgers (Zinger, Zinger Xtreme, Fish Zinger and Mighty Zinger)

2. One Chicken burger

3. Sub 60

4. Twister

5. Rice

6. Hot shots, Nuggets and Chicken pieces.

I’ve to choose from above six options, it makes easier to select one now. Lets choose from their specialty i.e. Zingers. I’ve following criteria for each Zinger.

Zinger:

Rs. 280/- for Combo.

Their standard ‘Zinger’ burger which has made every one crazy here in Pakistan. So crazy that many and many of new food chains have been established just presenting the copy of ‘Zinger’ as their main item. One big example is AFC (Al-Najam Fried Chicken) others are like Mr. Chicks, M.F.C. (Makkah Fried Chicken), Chicken and Lime, Bake ‘n Fry, H.F.C. (Haji Fried Chicken) and the list goes on and on.

But no one could give this ‘Zinger’ as good as K.F.C. Spices they used makes it different. Plus sometimes others gives more heat to chicken piece which changes the taste but K.F.C.’s standard remain same and every time we get the same yummy taste.

I don’t use to take this ‘Zinger’ any more because it is so small to fill my tummy and I’ve realized this after arrival of ‘MIGHTY Zinger’ (I’ll tell about ‘MIGHTY Zinger’ below).

Zinger Xtreme:

Rs. 300/- for Combo

‘Zinger Xtreme’ is my new favorite now. I’ve tasted it again in my last visit yesterday after long time. K.F.C. launch this ‘Zinger Xtreme’ as a spicy burger but after tasting it for the first time; I make up my mind that it is not much spicy.

I don’t know whether they have upgraded its taste or I’ve tasted it with neutral mind this time, but I like the spiciness of it. Just don’t like it but loved it, now it is in my top list of Zinger burgers, for me the most tasty one, most spicy one.

Fish Zinger:

Rs. 300/- for Combo

We have a culture here in Pakistan that people eat fish in winters only. I don’t know how much it is right or wrong but this effect the sales of K.F.C. ‘Fish Zinger’. In summer people have very less intention to go for it.

I don’t eat fish when I’m hungry, only due to one reason, because I don’t want to clear fish bones while eating. When I’m hungry I need food to go in my mouth straight away. ‘Fish Zinger’ has a fish piece which needs no work to be done and that’s the only reason I love this burger.

I haven’t tasted other fish burgers much so I can’t compare it with any one but it has a good taste. I often eat it, but in winters only

Mighty Zinger:

Rs. 350/- for Combo

Two years back: In Ramadan K.F.C. gave an offer to have two ‘Zinger’ in price of one at Sehri time (Morning time before the sun rises). I thought who would go to K.F.C. for Sehri but one day when I go there and could not imagine the crowd in there. People were roaming in K.F.C. outlet with holding a tray full of ‘Zingers’. Simply that deal was a big hit.

I think K.F.C. has analyze that people could easily eat two ‘Zinger’ at same time (I don’t know about others but Lahori people can) so why not give a burger with two chicken zinger pieces in it. Then afterwards we see road hoardings where a young boy holding a giant size burger in his hand which has two chicken zinger pieces in it and it says “It’s not just big, It’s MIGHTY”. It is really a mighty burger and a true Lahori (one who lives in Lahore) could have it’s tummy full with this.

After arrival of ‘MIGHTY Zinger’ I’ve never ordered any other burger at K.F.C. except this time when I order ‘Zinger Xtreme’, because it was a snack time. Otherwise whenever I go for a meal at K.F.C. I always order ‘MIGHTY Zinger’ as this is the only burger which satisfies my hunger.

Further I’ve found one new thing at K.F.C. i.e. Brownie

Brownie:

Rs. 50/-

Oh! wow! terrific! yummy!

I’m sorry but chocolate brownie is my weakness. Subway offered Brownie at some of their outlets which is yummy too and this time I’ve seen a K.F.C. brownie. It stands up to my expectations having only one problem; it ended very soon.

I don’t know whether it is available on all of their outlets or in few like Subway, but I’ve catch it in Baghbanpura branch.
