Best Haleem in Town
If you live in Mughalpura then you must be aware of an old man, a Maulvi who stand at Mughalpura chowk in the evening to sell his left Haleem (its a dish which is made by mixing different legumes, rice, beef and some other things).
He also has a shop in Gunj Bazar, Mughalpura where his son sell Haleem, meat balls, chanay and chicken from 10 am to 5 pm almost. His shop doesn’t have any name on it, so we name it ‘Maulvi ke Haleem’. Although sometimes we prefer to have meat balls only which is also one of his speciality. It’s my friend’s breakfast most of the time who invite me always in his Haleem party.
There are some famous Haleem seller at Sadar Bazar Cantt with the name of ‘Koozi Haleem’ but their Haleem is of different taste. Not as attractive as the former one. ‘Koozi Haleem’ has one advantage that I could eat it with spoon as well, otherwise I prefer to have chapati with all curry dishes.
The only hygienic test is that he ate his food by himself and I never had food poisoning after having his food. Best of luck to your stomach.
